About

Welcome to my personal website! Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Niklas and I am an actor and model based in Stuttgart, Germany. I was born and raised in Germany, and speak English, German, and Russian fluently.

I am currently completing my BFA in Theatre and Performance at Emerson College in Boston. Some of the things I love include going outside, being physically active, and playing boardgames, but my passion is acting. You might be asking yourself how I got into acting, and in order to answer that I have to explain my favorite pastime activity.

Most of my time growing up I spent playing tennis, but in my free time I loved impersonating and dressing up as characters from movies, video games, and cartoons. Undoubtedly, the best part of doing that was being able to dive into worlds that housed characters with experiences vastly different from the one’s I was familiar with.

It is no surprise to me that some of my favorite childhood memories consist of me putting in countless hours of research into figuring out how my favorite characters talked, walked, and experienced life. From studying character lore to sketching characters to crafting homemade DIY costumes, if there was a universe I wanted to be a part of I would do everything to achieve just that.

While trying to understand a character in all of their facets often posed itself as a complex challenge to me, what kept me going was the reward of being able to play and have fun when my friends and I ended up bringing characters to life on the playground. And that’s exactly what I know is important to me nowadays: To play and have fun with friends, whether on-stage or in front of the camera.

I am constantly looking to improve my craft in acting, whether that consists of honing my own personal skills or getting to know people and working in collaboration with them. My favorite part of this process is that there is always something new to learn, and the best way to do that is to get together and exchange ideas and stories.
